About and How to Care for Climbing Hydrangea
The shrub grows in many soil types (clay, loam, sand, etc.) and is cold-hardy. Just the same you'll want to ensure proper soil drainage. You can pot climbing hydrangea. Half a whiskey barrel is the size of pot required. Trellis the vines if there is no fence for them to grow on for maximum effect.
