Sowing and Germination
Sow about 1/4 inch deep in a sterile seed-starting mix. Keep at approximately 65–75°F and evenly moist, not saturated. Germination commonly takes 7–21 days.
Spacing and Care
Transplant after frost danger has passed. Provide full sun, fertile well-drained soil and about 12–24 inches between plants, depending on mature habit. Water deeply when the upper soil begins to dry. Taller plants may need support.
