Sweet Meat Winter Squash (Cucurbita maxima) is an old Oregon heirloom dating back to 1947. With vigorous vines up to 10', this variety will produce 10-15 lb flattened, globular, round-shape squash that has a bluish-gray exterior and sweet, delicious deep orange flesh. Excellent for baking pumpkin pies.
