Roseroot Stonecrop is a very cold hardy succulent plant that hails from the Arctic regions of Europe, Britain, Asia, & North America. The plants are able to tolerate a variety of soils including heavy clay, sandy, or rocky, & are also tolerant of drought & coastal conditions.
This Stonecrop can be used as a groundcover, an alpine & rock garden plant, as a border, or in a container. Whichever you choose, you will want to plant it somewhere you will get to see it with beautiful rosettes & lovely flower clusters that attract bees & butterflies.
Aside from being grown as a nice ornamental plant, Roseroot is also grown for its root’s medicinal properties. Its yellow roots are rose-scented, hence the name, & have long been used in traditional medicine.
