Craspedia Billy Buttons Craspedia Globosa Seeds
Craspedia Billy Buttons Craspedia Globosa is a perennial native to New Zealand and Australia, but this unique plant is more often grown as a hardy annual. Also commonly called Billy Balls, Drumsticks, and Woollyheads, the exotic-looking Craspedia has grass-like, silvery-green foliage with narrow, hairy leaves that have a wooly appearance and blooms with bright-yellow, globe-shaped clusters of tiny, cup-shaped flowers on a top of stiff, wiry stems.
Billy Buttons are easy to grow from seeds, and the fast-growing, drought-tolerant Craspedia makes a superb flower for rock gardens, cutting gardens, and borders. Craspedia Globosa grows best in full sun and gritty, well-drained garden soil tolerating a wide range of soil types, including sands, gravels, clays, and loams. Craspedia Drumsticks is a fantastic fresh or dried cut flower.

yes id did buy and receive bamboo seeds from you. i planted same and now cautiously await some indication the sprouting will begin. we are in northern nj where it is quite cold so i am keeping the plantings in a planter system we use for seedlings. only time luck and patience will tell the ultimate story. if the seeds come to be small plants we will replant into pots until spring and after that we are guardedly optimistic. thanks for the request and service. stewart a farber
I do not have an indoor garden so I am waiting until spring to plant. I will try planting closer to Feb or March in small pods watering with spray bottle, and slowly introduce the plants to outdoor conditions.
