Four O'Clock plants thrive in all zones, blooming all summer long. Four O'Clock thrive in ordinary soil in full sun or partial shade, sending up numerous volunteer seedlings every year (even in cold parts of the country.)
Four O'Clock Mix Seeds may be sown directly into the garden in the spring in warm areas. In other areas with a late spring, start the Four O'Clock seeds indoors about eight weeks before the final frost date for transplanting.
The seedlings may be set in the garden at about the same time you would plant tomatoes. Allow about 12 inches between plants. Four O'Clock roots are tuberous and can be divided in early spring. Some gardeners will store the tubers indoors over the winter and then plant again in the spring.

yes id did buy and receive bamboo seeds from you. i planted same and now cautiously await some indication the sprouting will begin. we are in northern nj where it is quite cold so i am keeping the plantings in a planter system we use for seedlings. only time luck and patience will tell the ultimate story. if the seeds come to be small plants we will replant into pots until spring and after that we are guardedly optimistic. thanks for the request and service. stewart a farber
I do not have an indoor garden so I am waiting until spring to plant. I will try planting closer to Feb or March in small pods watering with spray bottle, and slowly introduce the plants to outdoor conditions.
