Coreopsis flowers love the summer sun and heat. They are fairly drought tolerant once they are well-established. They are not too picky about soil, but it does need to drain well. Deadheading helps to encourage continuous blooms up until the end of summer.
Directly sow Coreopsis seeds outdoors in spring into a prepared seed bed. Soil should be loosened and weed-free. Press the flower seed into the soil but do not cover it. Keep the seed moist until germination. Coreopsis Mahogany Midget blooms in 10 weeks when sown from flower seeds.

I received my seeds. I have just planted them so I have not seen any growth but I am excited. They also gave me a tomatillo seed for free and I thought that was fun. They were packaged nicely and came in a timely fashion.
