Amarillo Oro melons are winter melons with yellow rinds and white flesh. Melons typically grow to be 3-5 lbs but can grow to be 15 lbs. Direct sow seeds in full sun. Sow in rich soil 1” deep. Hills should be placed 12” apart with rows 36” apart. Vines typically grow 3-10’ long. Melons are ready for harvest after around 100 days.
