Amarillo Oro melons are winter melons with yellow rinds and white flesh. Melons typically grow to be 3-5 lbs but can grow to be 15 lbs. Direct sow seeds in full sun. Sow in rich soil 1β deep. Hills should be placed 12β apart with rows 36β apart. Vines typically grow 3-10β long. Melons are ready for harvest after around 100 days.

Soaking seeds in water for 12-24 hours before planting will help speed up germination.
I do not have an indoor garden so I am waiting until spring to plant. I will try planting closer to Feb or March in small pods watering with spray bottle, and slowly introduce the plants to outdoor conditions.
