Burle Marx Philodendron One Tropical Plant Clipping
The Philodendron Burle Marx is a lush tropical plant with long glossy leaves. This plant grows in a trailing or vining pattern.
This plant grows native to Brazil and was named after the famous Landscape Architect Roberto Burle Marx who was passionate about using native plants in his landscaping design.
The Philodendron Burle Marx will grow in a small clump as a houseplant, like reaching 2-3 feet tall. In the wild, it can be grown into large shrubs that eventually trail and vine.
The Philodendron Burle Marx comes from the Araceae family, a low-growing shrub with heart-shaped and narrow leaves. Like other philodendron plants, it has glossy, dark green Burle Marx philodendron leaves filled with texture, donning the jungle-like and exotic foliage. It’s the rich texture that helps the plant adapt well to various environments!
I do not have an indoor garden so I am waiting until spring to plant. I will try planting closer to Feb or March in small pods watering with spray bottle, and slowly introduce the plants to outdoor conditions.
