Mung beans can be grown both indoors and out. As well as growing mung beans as sprouts, they can also be planted out in the garden. Late spring, when soils are warm, is the best time for planting as the soil is warm, and beans should be able to be harvested in as little as three months (typically 100 days).
Usually grown exclusively for dried bean production, adzuki is an ancient variety of bean used in Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese, and South Korean cuisine.
Easy to grow, best in cool to temperate climates, very hot weather can prohibit bean production so choose the planting period to avoid Summer if in warmer climates.
Sow Sp-Su, germinates between 15-28 degrees c, emerges 14 days. Bush habit.
