Japanese maple trees have lovely ornamental leaves and make excellent ornamental trees. Their stunning red and orange shades in the fall will really knock your socks off! These versatile trees make perfect bonsai specimens, or they can be grown in pots indoors or outdoors.
I do not have an indoor garden so I am waiting until spring to plant. I will try planting closer to Feb or March in small pods watering with spray bottle, and slowly introduce the plants to outdoor conditions.
