You will receive a live bamboo plant, at least 8 inches long, freshly separated from our mother grove to ensure it has the energy to thrive. It will be shipped moist and wrapped in plastic to retain freshness. You will either receive a culm with root (vertical growth) or a runner rhizome (horizontal growth), both designed to grow rapidly within a month or two after planting.

Our bamboo is freshly dug up from our personal grove after receiving your order, ensuring its vitality. Each plant comes with a new leaf, culm, or bud attached to guarantee freshness and health. This is a running bamboo species, primarily spreading through underground rhizomes, with each node producing a new bamboo shoot.

Once planted, this bamboo can grow 15-20 feet tall and remains green all year round. It spreads 3-5 feet per year, creating the perfect live privacy screen for your space. Please plant your bamboo as soon as it arrives for the best results.
