Brugmansia is known for its huge, fragrant, pendent flowers and originates from South America. When people first encounter the angel trumpet usually their jaws drop in awe of the exotic 10 inch long flowers and powerful lemon scent.
They are a perennial member of the Solanaceae (Calibrachoa). The foliage is highly poisonous which makes the plants deer-resistant.

HOW TO PLANT ANGEL'S TRUMPET SEEDS
Soak seed for 24 hours in lukewarm water, then sow in cell packs or flats, press into soil and barely cover. Needs light to germinate. Kept at 60-70° F. germination is in 21-60 days. Transplant into 3-inch containers when seedlings large enough to handle. When rooted, place into the garden 4 feet apart.
