This is a variety made famous by Chiquita brands as the most commonly cultivated banana in the world and the main source of Cavendish bananas. It's preferred for its fast fruiting characteristics and large heads of delicious bananas.
Cultivation
This is a fast-growing variety of Musa. Can be grown in full sun or partial shade. Mature height of 6-8', smaller in containers. Hardiness zone 8-11.
Plant size is 6-7" Tall, shipping in 2.5 x 2.5 x 3.5 container.
The seeds arrived quickly but we did not receive part of our order. We are still waiting for the ones we received to grow so too early for full review.
