Red Creeping Thyme Seeds, Groundcover Seeds, Heirloom Non-GMO Seeds

Creeping Thyme is a very hardy ground cover with petite pink flowers in the summer. Native to Northern Europe, this herbaceous perennial is very drought tolerant and creates a nice dense mat of foliage. Thymus Serpyllum, also called Dwarf Creeping Thyme, will grow 4"-6" tall and will attract butterflies and bees. It's also tolerant of rocky soil and deer.

Creeping Thyme will draw butterflies to your gardens with its lemon scent! It’s a short, creeping perennial that is very drought and heat tolerant. A fast-growing ground cover that looks great in rock gardens, creeping thyme can fill bare spots in your yard quickly.

It’s best suited for warmer climates, in more northern locations it’s described as an annual. Creeping thyme plants prefer a location in full sun to partial shade. Plant creeping thyme seeds in almost any king of well-draining soil. They rarely require watering after they’re established. Draw butterflies and other wildlife to your yard with this easy-to-grow groundcover!

These creeping thyme seeds are so tiny they look like dust specks, and they can wash away, so start your seeds indoors and get a jump on the season! Plant creeping thyme seeds six to eight weeks before the last frost, and transplant them outside when the weather warms up.

I’ve bought these seeds to fill in areas in between red creeping tyme plugs I have bought elsewhere. I did realize as the seeds grew
The characteristics of this tyme are very similar to ripple tyme
And I have absolutely no problem with that.
5 months of growth and it came out great

red thyme

My red thyme sees sprouted and are growing nicely. I tried to plant them individually (tiny, tiny seeds) and managed pretty well. I plan to put them in the ground as plugs. I didn’t receive my seeds the first time around and had trouble with the delivery company. I could never reach a real live person. When I communicated this to Seed World they immediately sent out a new order at no cost to me. This is a good part of the reason I gave them 5 stars - excellent service. Thank You!!!

Thyme seeds planting

I planted the thyme seeds in pots but I will not know what to say about the seeds because it takes about four weeks for them to germinate. They are the tiniest to plant. I had use pocket knives to pick up the seeds to plant.
