Paulownia tomentosa is a native tree to Asia, with large slightly blurred leaves. They are known to grow up to 15 feet (4.6 m) or more in the first year. It is reportedly the fastest-growing hardwood tree at maturity they can reach around 20 meters in as little as 5 or 6 years. It produces a strong yet light wood, and due to its quick growing nature suitable for use in biofuel production. Also gives stunning displays of purple foxglove shaped flowers, with a deep purple throat.
I do not have an indoor garden so I am waiting until spring to plant. I will try planting closer to Feb or March in small pods watering with spray bottle, and slowly introduce the plants to outdoor conditions.
