Blanket flowers produce an almost constant show of blooms that last through the Summer and Fall. They will flourish in many planting zones and are hardy to zone 2! Blanket flowers are members of the Sunflower family and are also referred to commonly as Indian Blanket.
They're a classic, North American native wildflower that, of course, is well adapted to the environment. They can easily withstand harsh environments like low rainfall or hot conditions.
They can tolerate poor soil types but do best in well-drained soil. All these attributes make them excellent flowers for the beginning gardener. They're also great for attracting pollinators to the garden. Blanket flowers are also appealing to beneficial predatory insects to keep your garden ecosystem balanced.
They're fairly compact plants and will also do well planted in containers or window boxes. They'd be great flowers for small decks or balconies. In addition, blanket flowers make fantastic cut flowers with their distinctive appearance!

yes id did buy and receive bamboo seeds from you. i planted same and now cautiously await some indication the sprouting will begin. we are in northern nj where it is quite cold so i am keeping the plantings in a planter system we use for seedlings. only time luck and patience will tell the ultimate story. if the seeds come to be small plants we will replant into pots until spring and after that we are guardedly optimistic. thanks for the request and service. stewart a farber
I do not have an indoor garden so I am waiting until spring to plant. I will try planting closer to Feb or March in small pods watering with spray bottle, and slowly introduce the plants to outdoor conditions.
