Dichondra is a creeping ground cover that is evergreen down to 20F. It forms a thick mat of foliage, so it is good for choking out weeds. It In some places, it's used in place of traditional grass for lawns.
As lawn grass, it can be mowed but doesn't have to be. It will grow taller in shade than it does in the sun. Dichondra is very ornamental & is also great for rock gardens, between garden stones, spilling out of containers, or over walls.
