Setaria macrocheaeta (Setaria italica Macrocheata)
Grow Setaria italica seeds for a vigorous, robust annual millet that has many uses. Known as Foxtail Millet, Setaria Macrocheata is used in dried and fresh-cut flower arrangements to give a vertical accent. This ornamental grass is easily grown and reaches a height of 28 inches in no time.
The large 3 - 4 inch seed heads are fluffy and very ornamental in the latter part of summer. If the seed heads are allowed to mature and ripen, the millet grass will attract wildlife to the landscape.

I do not have an indoor garden so I am waiting until spring to plant. I will try planting closer to Feb or March in small pods watering with spray bottle, and slowly introduce the plants to outdoor conditions.
