Basket of Gold is a fitting common name for this golden yellow Alyssum. This low-growing, spreading perennial produces a profuse spring bloom of bright yellow flowers that are particularly attractive in rock gardens, sprawled over rocks, or cascading down rock walls. Butterflies, bees, and birds also love these dainty wildflower clusters! After bloom, its attractive silver-green foliage makes a wonderful ground cover.

How lovely. The seeds looked good and I could see they have a pinkish tone to them. I gave them to 2 friends for mother's day. I also planted quite a few. Hope they come up beautifully. So unusual and pretty.
