The big huckleberry plant (vaccinium Membranaceum) produces one of the tastiest fruit in the world. Their output is legendary, as one bush can produce hundreds of berries.
They can be made into jams or jellies and also be used in pies, bear claws, and other delicacies.
Huckleberry also has pretty white and red flowers which are popular with bees and butterflies.
I do not have an indoor garden so I am waiting until spring to plant. I will try planting closer to Feb or March in small pods watering with spray bottle, and slowly introduce the plants to outdoor conditions.
