American Arborvitae (Thuja Occidentalis)

These seeds sprout readily and the trees grow hardy--perfect for hedging, tree sculpting, and privacy fencing with nature. Thuja occidentalis naturally grow in a pyramid shape however they can be re-shaped to your desire.

Growing Instructions:
1. Scarification: Soak in water for 24hrs
2. stratification: cold stratify for 60 days. Check every two weeks to make sure seeds are moist and that seeds are not molding.
If there is a sign of mold, seeds should be soaked in 3:2 parts of water bleach then rinsed with clean water and put back into cold stratification.
3. germination: sow seeds 1/8" deep in the soil, tamp the soil & mulch the seedbed. Requires light for germination
