1 Crack the shell with nut cracker, be careful do not hut the seed inside the shell.
2 Soak the seeds in warm water for 48 hours
3 Soak the seeds in 1 part bleach / alcohol / Oxygen peroxide 9 part water for 10 mins. This process will kill the fungus.
4. Wrap the seeds with moistened kitchen paper and seal them in zip-lock bag.
5 place it in the refrigerator at 34 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit for one to two months
6 Check the seeds every week, remove rotting/ contaminated seeds.
7 Oncecold stratification is finished, you can plant the seeds into a container.
8 Keep the temperature around 65°F-75°F. Seed should start germinate within 4 weeks
