Artemisia Dracunculus. This is the Russian variety that is much more hardy, and more productive, than the French variety (which cannot be grown from seeds, only cuttings).
Very easy to grow in containers as it doesn't need much water and overwinters well. Germination in 10-14 days.
It flavors vinegar, fish, meats, vegetables, cheese, and sauces. The leaves can be used in cooking both fresh and dried. Medically, the Tarragon herb is used in teas to stimulate digestion and ease intestinal distension.
